Customized Engraved Wooden Photo Frames

Customized Wooden Photo Frames, Made From Your Photo

Every frame on this page starts with a photo you send us. To customize a wooden photo frame, pick a design, upload the picture on the product page, then type the words you want in the text box: a name, a date, a nickname or a short message. The frame is made for that one person, so no two look the same.

Personalised and customised mean the same thing here. Whether you search for a personalised wooden photo frame, a customised wooden photo frame or a customized wooden frame, you get a frame with your own picture and words on it. Our most ordered design is the Personalized Wooden Engraved Birthday Frame With Picture, from ₹399 for the 5x4 inch size.

How Photo Engraving on Wood Works

On a wood engraved photo frame, the photo is engraved straight into the surface of the wood, which on most of our designs is beech. The picture comes out in dark brown tones on the light wood, a little like an old sepia print, and you can feel the depth of the engraving with your fingers. The text and small designs, such as hearts or a crown, get the same wooden engraving, so the whole photo frame matches.

People also search for this as a carved photo frame or photo carving on wood. It is the same idea: the picture is cut into the surface of the wood instead of being printed on top.

A few tips for wooden photo engraving, so your photo comes out well:

• Clear faces: pick a photo where the faces are sharp and well lit. Blurry or dark photos lose detail on wood.
• Close crop: a photo taken from the waist up shows faces bigger than a full-length shot.
• Group photos: for a family or a team photo, choose a bigger size such as 10x8 or 12x9 inches so each face stays clear.
• Simple background: a plain wall or sky behind the people keeps the engraving clean.

Wooden Photo Frame Sizes and Prices

Most designs come in several sizes, and the price changes with the size. These are the prices on most of our engraved wooden photo frames. Not every design comes in every size, and the product page always shows the exact price.

Engraved Wooden Plaques With Photo

Many of our designs are photo plaques: a single board of wood with the photo and the words engraved side by side, with no separate border. They stand on a table or a shelf, and some designs come with a small wooden stand. The Personalized Wooden Birthday Plaque in beech wood is a good example, with room for a long birthday wish next to the photo. A customized wooden plaque like this makes a wooden plaque gift that suits an office desk as well as a shelf at home.

For a family portrait, the Custom Engraved Wooden Photo Painting for Family (₹599) turns a family photo into an engraved picture on wood. A few designs use other woods. The MDF wooden photo frame for birthday is one of our lowest priced frames at ₹380, and the natural wood slice frames keep the bark around the edge. You can see all the slice designs in our natural wood collection.

Wooden Photo Frame Gifts for Birthdays

A birthday is the most common reason people order a wooden photo frame from us. Most birthday designs carry a "Happy Birthday" line under the photo and leave space for the name and a wish. For a girlfriend or a wife, the Wooden Best Birthday Gift for Girlfriend leaves room for a longer message. For a friend or a colleague, a simple 5x4 or 6x4 frame on the desk is a gift they keep.

If you want to give a little more, our birthday combos pair an engraved frame with a photo mug, a wooden keychain or greeting cards in one box, such as the birthday frame and coffee mug combo.

Photo Frames for Family: Sister and Brother, Mom and Dad

Frames for a sister are among the designs our customers pick most. Use a childhood photo of the two of you, or a recent one from a family function, and add a line only she will understand. The Customized Engraved Wooden Photo Frame For Sister works for her birthday, Rakhi or her wedding. For a brother, the Engraved Wooden Frame For Brother with Photo and Message starts at ₹399.

For parents, a frame works for a birthday, Mother's Day, Father's Day or their anniversary. The World's Best Mom Engraved Photo Frame and the World's Best Dad Wooden Photo Frame both start under ₹500.

Farewell, Retirement and Boss Gifts

When a colleague leaves or a senior retires, a team photo engraved on wood with everyone's wishes is a gift that goes on their new desk or at home. Choose 10x8 inches or bigger for a team photo. The Personalized Engraved Wooden Photo Frame for Farewell and the Engraved Wooden Photo Plaque for Boss both take a photo plus your own text, such as the name, the role and a line from the team.
